From Blank Canvas to Finished Plate

Akashic Chronicles I is Plate 001 — the first work in an unfolding series. Here’s the piece traced from what it started as to what it became, for anyone who wants the fuller picture before Plate 002 exists.

A single point of light

The canvas began, by Tatiana’s account, as one point of white light near the center. No composition was sketched around it — the point itself was the entire starting content of the piece. Everything that follows grew outward from that location, which is part of why the finished image reads as radiating from a center rather than built up from a background.

Blue: the first field

The earliest layers established a dense blue field, laid down in thousands of small, directional strokes rather than blocked in flatly. This is the layer that gives the finished piece its sense of depth — even where later, brighter layers sit on top, the blue is still visible underneath, textured rather than covered.

Turquoise, then yellow: the field starts moving

Subsequent sessions introduced turquoise and yellow, extending the directional strokes outward from the center. This is where the radiating, spiral structure common to kundalini-channeled work becomes visible — not designed as a radial pattern from the outset, but arrived at through the layering itself.

Pink, then ember: the piece finds its center

The final sessions brought pink and, last, an ember red-orange at the core — the brightest, most saturated point in the piece, where the original point of light effectively resolved. Tatiana describes not knowing this would be the final layer until the session ended and the picture stopped changing.
