About the practice

The practice behind Akashic Chronicles

Every painting in this series begins the same way: not with a sketch, but with a state.

How a painting arrives
01 · Before the canvas

Enter the state

Tatiana has practiced Kundalini yoga since 2021 and has gone through a kundalini activation — an experience that reshaped her relationship to the body and to attention. Every session begins here, before a single mark is made.

02 · At the canvas

The hand moves

In meditation and states of kundalini activation, she lets her hands move without conscious control. No sketches, no planning beforehand — only the state, and the canvas.

03 · Layer after layer

The layers settle

The image builds stroke by stroke, and every new layer changes what came before — so the final composition stays unknown, even to her, until the session ends.

How the painting takes shape

Color, layer by layer

A procedural study of this painting's own pixels, sorted into the order they were laid down — blue, turquoise, yellow, pink, then ember-orange — spiraling outward from the same center the composition radiates from.

About Tatiana

The person behind the practice

Tatiana has practiced Kundalini yoga since 2021 and has gone through a kundalini activation — a turning point that reshaped how she relates to her own body and attention.

Painting became an extension of that practice rather than a separate discipline: the same stillness that grounds her meditation is what lets her hand move without deciding in advance. She doesn't see herself as illustrating spiritual ideas — she sees the canvas as where the practice continues.

Reading the Akashic Chronicles

She describes what arrives as a reading of the Akashic Chronicles: visions that feel like they come from beyond the personal mind.

A journey of the soul, knowledge that feels centuries old — received rather than invented. Each canvas in the series is a record of a single session: what came through, in the order it arrived, translated into thousands of small, directional strokes across the surface of the painting.

This is not a metaphor Tatiana applies after the fact — it is how the paintings are made. No composition is planned. The brush moves before the image is understood, and the picture is often unrecognizable to her until the final layers settle.
